Overview

Roomory is a local mixed reality application for Meta Quest. The first release is designed to run on the headset without a Roomory account, without app-owned cloud sync, without analytics, without ads, and without in-app purchases.

Data Roomory Uses On Your Device

Roomory may access local files that you choose through the headset's system file picker, such as photos, videos, and audio. Roomory may copy selected media into the app's local storage so the room layout and media library can be restored after restart.

Roomory may save local app settings and room-layout information on the headset, including placed content positions, media library records, playback-related settings, language selection, and reset/clear-layout state.

Selected local media may include images, videos, voices, faces, family memories, or other personal content chosen by the user.

How Data Is Used

Roomory uses selected local media and saved layout data only to provide the mixed reality room experience on the headset.

The first release of Roomory is not designed to send selected media, room layouts, app settings, or personal files to a Roomory server.

Internet, Accounts, Ads, And Purchases

The first release of Roomory does not require an internet connection for Roomory-owned features.

The first release does not include a Roomory account system, ads, analytics SDKs, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Future versions may add optional paid effects packs. This policy and the store disclosures should be updated before any such release if the data practices or purchases change.

Meta Quest platform services, the operating system, and the Meta Horizon Store may process data under Meta's own terms and privacy policies.

Data Sharing

The first release of Roomory does not sell personal data and is not designed to share selected local media with third parties.

Data Deletion

You can delete Roomory's local data by using the app's reset or clear-layout features where available, deleting imported media from inside the app where supported, or uninstalling Roomory from the headset.

Children And Age Group

Roomory's intended audience for the first release is all ages / Mixed Ages, pending Meta age-group self-certification and any applicable regional requirements. The app should be used only by users who meet Meta Quest and regional age requirements.

Roomory does not include a Roomory-owned account, social sharing, chat, ads, analytics, or online service in the first release. Parents or guardians should supervise children when selecting or placing personal media.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated when Roomory adds new features, such as online services, analytics, paid content, or other data processing. The updated policy will describe the changed data practices.
